My Eight Year Wedding Anniversary

Sometimes it seems a lifetime ago that this picture was taken, and other days merely moments.  Times of great joy and times of sorrow, and yet it all plays out exactly as it should.  And in return we Grow together. My dearest John, I'm so glad to have walked with you through the battlefield of life.  I love you more each day that God gives us.

Musings from a time ago:

Sometimes we sit and ponder what the future might hold.  But as Christians we need not wonder.  We are guaranteed a magnificent future that is so handsomely described to us in God's fair love letter written to all the saints.  Though in our present state it may seem far reaching, we must remember that we will not always be as we are.  Circumstances in our lives have a way of keeping our eyes fixed on the things of this world.  Yet, when we look beyond ourselves the spiritual realm begins to unveil itself.  We fasten our gaze no longer on worldly goods which have no comparison.  For we have nothing to forfeit but that which holds no value in eternity future.  Expressly when we consider that what we have obtained through life in Christ, can never be overtaken by man.
