I just returned from doing the French Flea Market

Random Inspirations

My husband and I are getting new living furniture delivered this weekend, we are so excited.  Sadly it won't be this living room ensemble, but it will be a great excuse to change things up and maybe even buy some more new pieces. 

I absolutely love the boat deck feel of these chairs

 I never get tired of linen, my new chairs will be made of it.

I still love the mix of industrial chic with soft neutral fabrics

Vintage Furniture Piece For My Guest Bedroom

I just had to share a picture of a new to me (vintage) furniture piece that I just purchased from my good friend Mindy at Pretty In Paint. I had been waiting a while for just the right piece to replace the more modern hutch I had, and this was it.

 

 I was going to stay with all cream furniture in this room, but when I saw this in grey, I decided to throw caution to the wind and go for it.  I'll show you pics of the whole room, as soon as I find the finishing touches that pull the whole look together.

I've been meaning to Write

My husband and I have been traveling non-stop this year, so I have not been blogging as much as I would like.  It is always amazing to me how the time flies bye.

As the sun rises early this morning

I think today will be a great day for sipping lemonade

out in my sun room (oh wait! I don't have a sun room)

out on my porch (doesn't quite sound as grand) with a good book in hand

Take time for the little things that matter, and make this day special in some way.
