Our Christmas Eve Church Service
A wonderful way to spend our Christmas Eve together, was for my husband and I to attend our church's Christmas Eve service. It was so...wonderful. We are normally away at this time of the year, so my husband and I have never gotten to attend since we've been married. Which made it even more special. Our church has a huge amphitheater, so the service was outside.
These trees were massive
The biggest bonfire's I've ever seen!
Then the lights went out, and it was time to do the candlelight service
My candle in the darkness...
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Jesus Loves you,

Present Wrapping Time
I was busy yesterday wrapping Christmas presents. It is really time consuming, but I enjoy doing it when no one else is around, with Christmas music playing in the background and sipping a good cup of coffee.
This one is for my brother, I think he'll get a kick out of it.
I've still got a few presents to go...
Merry Christmas!!!

Baking and Decorating with the Family
Since my husband and I were going to be home for Christmas for the first time since we have been married, I really wanted to make the most of it. We have been busy entertaining friends and family and I have enjoyed every minute of it. One of the things I wanted to make sure to do, was to get together with family and craft, bake and do activities. So yesterday I spent the entire day at my moms house baking sugar cookies and decorating a gingerbread house with the family. My mom, my brother and his wife, my wonderful nieces and my sister. We had a blast.
as you can see we did not use traditional Christmas colors or traditional shapes to decorate our Christmas cookies, and if you've ever met our family you wouldn't be surprised, we are not real traditionalists.
I just bought a ready built gingerbread house from Costco (which made it so much easier than doing our own) since for us the decorating is the best part. And a whole bunch more candy, because we like to load it up with goodness.
It was truly a family effort on this one, and though it may not win any awards. We absolutely love it because truly it was made with LOVE!!
Hope you enjoyed the pics, and may even inspire you to take time out of you busy schedules to just spend some quality time with your family.
Merry Christmas!!

Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm at Christmas
My husband and I just got back from a trip to LA where we visited both Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm in two whirlwind days. Here are just a few pics of them decked out for the holidays.
It's snowing on Main St!!
Fireworks at the Castle!!
On to Knott's ...
So many great roller coasters at this park, and we practically had the place all to ourselves!
I really liked this ride you could see forever from up there!
If you ever get a chance to visit these theme parks for the holidays I highly recommend it. It truly does feel magical, all the lights, Christmas music, snow and fireworks what's not to love!!
