Repurposed Inspirations

I absolutely love this cabinet, I would love to have one for my house and if I ever find one, I think it will be mine!

Metal and wood is my favorite right now, the perfect mix of vintage industrial.

How cute are these old tea cans!

industrial pallets made into shelves, very chic right now

These stools are amazing!

Love Is In The Air

May this Valentine's Day be about GIVING love rather than waiting to receive it.

If you Love as Christ loves

You will see love everywhere!

Positive reinforcement

Sometimes this world can get a little negative,

and sometimes we need to be reminded to...

I mostly post this for myself,

but maybe one of you needed the same reminder

6 rue Marche

A friend of mine in Redmond, OR just opened another new shop.  Right across from her existing shop Cricket on the Hearth which I've blogged about before.
6 rue Marche is a little different concept, it is an artist Alchemy,
a co-op of Etsy artisans selling there handmade treasures.
I had the opportunity of seeing it this last week for the first time while I was visiting the area.
If you live near there, you should really check it out.  They just had there grand opening last week.

Isn't this building amazing, it is in the old Historic Redmond Hotel right downtown.

So what do you think?

New Offerings at Hillhouse

I have been adding lots of new merchandise to my booth

 I have several different mirrors

Lots of new greenery

Some great vintage finds

See anything you like?  I realize it is really full right now, but I just can't help packing it to the brim.

Blessings,

Ruth

Beautiful Creation

Be reminded today of the beauty

of God's creation

God is in every tomorrow...

This poem really spoke to me when I read it, I hope it speaks to you too.

"God is in every tomorrow,

Therefore I live for today,

Certain of finding at sunrise,

Guidance and strength for the way;

Power for each moment of weakness,

Hope for each moment of pain,

Comfort for every sorrow,

Sunshine and joy after rain."

Union Jack Inspiration

I just love this union jack decor.  I was inspired by it last year and still have yet to make anything for my own home or my Mercantile space.  So I thought I would just share the inspiration with you...

I hope you are having a great January so far...

Psalm 16:8

"I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me."

Fresh Start

I love the feeling I get every January of starting over Fresh.

I'm able to look at everything through new eyes

Becoming thankful for the things I take for granted

My circumstances haven't changed

but my attitude and perspective have

Taking one day at time

Venturing out as if I'm on a new journey

What wonderful prospects this day may hold

In Him,

Ruth
