Christmas From My Home to Yours

Here are some of the Christmas vignette's around my home

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!  I love this time of year for so many reasons.  Crisp, cool days followed by warm crackling fires at night.  Most of all a constant reminder of how blessed I am.  For the family that loves me and dear friends to share my life with.  Everyday a testament to God's perfect mercy.
In the Holy hush of the early dawn
I hear a Voice-
"I am with you all the day long,
Rejoice! Rejoice!"

Just a Little Christmas Enchantment

Just a little enchantment to put you in the mood to decorate if you haven't already.  I just finished my decorating yesterday and will be posting pictures soon.

Monday Musings:
At times we can talk ourselves into believing
that nothing is right with the world
Though at a glance this statement may prove true
there is more we must perceive
A hidden understanding of the truth that lies within
to affect the world in which we dwell
-may your life make a difference today
 in the world around you

Harvest of Plenty

"And do not worry about food, what you shall eat or drink...Your Father already knows your needs.  He will give you all you need from day to day if you make the Kingdom of God your primary concern." Luke 12:29-31

So spend a little time alone with God today.  Thanking Him for all he has given you.

First Snowfall

Yesterday I awoke to the beautiful sight of not only snow covered ground, but a moon high in the sky.  As I was taking pictures of this lovely sight, it began to snow again, more and more...covering any imperfections in the ground where the snow may have melted, now almost all white. Such purity and perfection.  And I felt cleansing happening inside of me.  As the spirit renewed the way that I looked at the world, and the way the world looked at me.  I was starting fresh, once again.  Not because I deserve it, but because I don't.  The gracious gift of cleansing, is just that, a gift to the undeserving.
